The Capital Development Authority (CDA), in collaboration with the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), reviewed the use of high-resolution satellite imagery to enhance smart urban planning, land monitoring, and encroachment detection in Islamabad under an existing MoU. During a meeting at CDA Headquarters, progress on sector development was also assessed, with Sectors C-14, C-15, I-12, and E-12 reported to be in advanced stages of development. Chairman CDA emphasized timely completion, quality standards, provision of basic amenities, and early possession of developed plots, reaffirming sectoral development as a key priority alongside major infrastructure initiatives.
