The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) and the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding at NTC Headquarters, Islamabad, to enhance Pakistan’s satellite-based communication and digital infrastructure. Under the partnership, NTC will utilize geo-communication satellites to strengthen nationwide connectivity, while SUPARCO will leverage NTC’s terrestrial network to deliver satellite-enabled services more efficiently. The collaboration spans satellite communications, geospatial services, cloud solutions, and secure digital platforms, supporting the national vision of a “Satellite-Powered Digital Pakistan” and expanding reliable, secure digital services, particularly in remote and underserved regions.
